9 land sales approved

Lands Department

The Lands Department issued nine consents to sell in the October-December period, six for residential units and three commercial. The department also issued two consents to assign units in completed residential developments.

 

The six consents involved 2,388 incomplete residential units in various districts. Five developments in Tung Chung, Yuen Long, Pok Fu Lam and Tsuen Wan comprising 1,358 units are due for completion between March and December. One development in Sha Tin comprising 1,030 units will be completed in March next year.

 

The two consents to assign residential developments involve 1,676 units in Tseung Kwan O and 541 on Lantau Island.

 

At the end of December, eight applications for consent to sell residential units and five for commercial developments were pending approval.

 

The applications for consent to sell incomplete residential units being processed involve 1,937 flats. Of them, two developments involving 96 units will be completed this year. The other six, involving 1,841 units, will be completed next year.

 

In addition, there are two applications for consent to assign involving 1,297 completed residential units pending approval.
