The Lands Department issued a consent for the sale of 783 residential units and two consents for commercial developments in July.

The residential development, in Tung Chung, is expected to be completed in October, 2007.

The department also issued a consent to assign involving 1,576 residential units in July.

As at the end of July, 13 applications for consent to sell residential units, and five applications for consent to sell commercial developments, were pending approval. 

The applications for consent to sell residential units being processed involve 7,153 units. Among them, one application involving 11 units is estimated to be completed in 2006. Nine applications, involving 3,307 units, are estimated to be completed in 2007 and the remaining three applications, involving 3,835 units, are estimated to be completed in 2008.
