HKMA to implement 5-day working week

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority will implement a five-day working week with effect from September 4.

 

The authority's reception and information centre will continue to open Saturday mornings, and their opening hours remain unchanged.

 

The reception opens Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6pm, and on Saturday from 9am to noon, except public holidays.

 

The information centre opens Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm, and on Saturday from 10am to 1pm, except public holidays.

 

The authority said its staff's total working hours will remain unchanged, and no additional resources will be needed to implement the new arrangements.
