Official statistics can now be downloaded for free from the Statistical Bookstore Hong Kong.
Commissioner for Census & Statistics Fung Hing-wang said the free availability of statistical publications and tables aims to promote statistical literacy and better informed decision-making in the community.
He hoped it would also help overseas investors interested in Hong Kong make investment decisions.
Buyers can continue to place online orders for, or subscribe to, print versions of the publications at a 15% discount.
