Vice-President Zeng Qinghong officiated at the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland today, ending his three-day visit to the city.
Before the midday ceremony, Mr Zeng first saw Disney's Storybook Theatre where he was briefed by Financial Secretary Henry Tang and Disney officials on the theme park.

Accompanied by Chief Executive Donald Tsang, Mr Zeng then visited Chinese food court Clopin's Festival of Foods, the Mad Hatter Tea Cups and Fantasy Gardens, where they posed for photographs with Disney characters.
At the ceremony, Mr Zeng and other VIPs dotted the eyes of five ceremonial lions. Flanked by Mickey and Minnie Mouse, the guests then performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which was followed by fireworks.
The Chief Executive then bade Mr Zeng farewell and presented him with a souvenir photograph album of his visit.
