5 pre-sale consents issued in March

Lands Department

The Lands Department issued five consents for the sale of 2,744 residential units in March. Of the five developments, two are estimated to be completed this year and three by September next year.

 

One consent to assign 660 residential units was issued in March.

 

In the first quarter this year, the department issued nine consents for the sale of 3,681 residential units in uncompleted developments. Five cases involving 523 units are estimated to be completed this year and the remaining four involving 3,158 units by September next year.

 

The department also issued five consents for the sale of uncompleted commercial developments.

 

At the end of March, there were 15 applications for pre-sale consent pending approval, involving 6,316 residential units.

 

Of them, two cases involving 224 units are estimated to be completed this year, and the remaining 13 involving 6,092 units within next year.

 

Commerical consent

There are two applications for pre-sale consent for commercial developments pending approval. There are also five applications for consent to assign, involving 2,297 residential units, and three applications for consent to assign for commercial developments pending approval.

 

The latest information on consents to sell units in uncompleted developments issued for the past six months and cases pending approval as of the end of March are available by calling 2147 5475 or visiting the department's website.

 

The names of the developer, its parent company (if any), its solicitors, authorised person (including the name of the firm) and the mortgagee bank (if any) in respect of individual development are also available through the hotline's fax-on-demand facilities or the website.
