John Tsang to attend WTO meeting in Kenya
*

Secretary for Commerce, Industry & Technology John Tsang will depart for Mombassa, Kenya, tomorrow to attend an informal meeting of ministers in charge of World Trade Organisation matters.

The meeting, to be held from March 2 to 4, is a follow-up to last month's meeting in Switzerland.

Ministers will discuss the progress of the negotiations under the Doha Development Agenda, including non-agricultural market access, agriculture, services, rules, trade facilitation and development issues.

They will also consider the roadmap to the 6th WTO Ministerial Conference to be held in Hong Kong from December 13 to 18 this year.

Mr Tsang will return to Hong Kong on March 5.
