6,000 pre-sale approvals for flats in Q2

Lands Department

The Lands Department issued a total of eight consents for the sale of residential units in uncompleted developments between April and June, involving 5,976 residential units.

 

One of the developments, comprising 1,616 residential units, was completed on June 30, and another development comprising 48 residential units will be in place by September 30. Four developments involving a total of 3,801 residential units will be ready next year, and the remaining two, with 511 residential units, will be completed before April 2006.

 

The department issued four consents for the sale of 2,579 residential units in four uncompleted developments in June. Three are located on Hong Kong Island and one is in North District. They will be completed between September this year and April 2006.

 

The department also issued one consent to assign in this period, in respect of commercial units.

 

15 consents to sell await approval

As of the end of June, one application for consent to sell a commercial development and 14 for residential developments involving a total of 8,082 residential units are pending approval.

 

Three of the residential developments involving 1,657 units will be completed this year, eight involving 4,468 units next year, and the remaining three involving 1,957 units before February 2006.

 

Three applications are pending approval for consent to assign, two in respect of commercial developments and one residential development comprising 2,010 units.
