Guangdong business seminar set for November 18

*

Nearly 1,000 Hong Kong business executives based in Guangdong will attend a seminar in Guangzhou next week to learn more about the Mainland sales market.

There are more than 74,000 registered Hong Kong-invested enterprises in Guangdong Province, mostly in manufacturing.

The seminar aims to enhance their understanding of policies and regulations that govern domestic sales of self-manufactured products, to help them explore the Mainland market and promote the development of economic and trade links between Guangdong and Hong Kong.

It will take place at Guangzhou's Garden Hotel on November 18 from 1.30pm.

It is organised by the HK Economic & Trade Office in Guangdong, and the Guangdong Sub-council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

Officials from Guangdong Provincial Department of Foreign Trade & Economic Co-operation and the Guangdong Sub-Administration of Customs General Administration will be invited to explain their policies and regulations.

Five distinguished Hong Kong business executives from various manufacturing and services sectors have also been invited to share their experiences.
