Financial Secretary Henry Tang left Hong Kong this evening to attend the 7th Beijing-HK Economic Co-operation Symposium to be held in the Mainland capital on October 23.

During his stay, Mr Tang will address the symposium the morning it opens.

He will take part in a tourism promotion in the afternoon and later speak at a dinner organised by the Office of the HK Government in Beijing.

Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Frederick Ma will double up as Financial Secretary during Mr Tang's trip.
