Flu outbreak closes special school

Department of Health

The Department of Health has advised Tseung Kwan O Pui Chi School to suspend classes for seven days due to an outbreak of influenza-like illness affecting 11 students.

 

All affected students are stable. No hospitalisation was required.

 

The department has visited the school and advised staff on infection control measures. The school is under medical surveillance.
