A designated webpage on the national education activity series will be launched on the Education Bureau website mid-year to provide a one-stop online platform with links to information on activities the bureau and other social organisations organise.

Launched by Chief Executive Donald Tsang today, the Passing On the Torch series marks a new era in the bureau's efforts to enhance students' and teachers' sense of national identity and shows its commitment to working closely with different social organisations.

The platform will serve as a useful channel of communications and professional exchange for the school sector and other interested parties.

It will also help consolidate the efforts of social organisations and facilitate effective promotion of national education in the community. Its contents will be updated from time to time with more organisations joining in.

The Government will allocate extra resources for the platform's operation. Organisations helping to promote national education will continue to be subsidised to run exchange activities and programmes.
