Job fair offers 2,100 vacancies

*
Labour Department

The Labour Department will hold a job fair at Metro City Plaza on November 12, offering more than 2,100 vacancies at 23 firms.

Twenty-three companies, mainly from the catering and retail industries, will set up counters. Vacancies available include posts such as shop supervisor, cook, waiter/waitress, shop assistant, sales, customer service officer and security guard. The department will conduct on-the-spot registration for job seekers.

About 74% of the vacancies are full-time jobs. Most of them offer a monthly salary ranging from $5,400 to $10,000. About 95% of these vacancies require Secondary 5 educational level or below. About 90% are open to job seekers without relevant experience.

The job fair will be held at Level 1 Atrium, Metro City Plaza II, 8 Yan King Road, Tseung Kwan O from 11am to 6pm. Admission is free. For more information, click here.
