4 exam authority members reappointed
*

Four Hong Kong Examinations & Assessment Authority members - investment group chairman Chen Chung-nin, human capital consultant Ng Hak-kim, and school principals Ng Ka-yee and Shek Yuk-yu - have been reappointed for three years from September 1.

 

The Education Bureau said today the authority is the bureau's strategic partner in the implementation of education reforms. The distinguished members from the education sector and other professions will enrich the authority's expertise.

 

Mr Chen is Pacific Falcon Investment Group chairman while Mr Ng is Human Capital Management Consulting chairman. Ms Ng is Hennessy Road Government Primary AM School principal and Ms Shek is the principal of Ying Wa Girls' School.

 

The authority is a statutory body to conduct public examinations and assessment, and other examinations approved by the Chief Executive. Its chairman is Koo Yee-yin, and members include school principals, teachers, representatives of tertiary institutions, parent representative, and people in commerce, industry or a profession.
