Mrs Mansukhani, who is principal of a special school, Patrick Chan, a local bank's executive director & chief financial officer, barrister Jane Curzon Lo and solicitor Duffy Wong have been reappointed to the Quality Education Fund Steering Committee.

The steering committee advises the Government on the policies and operation of the Quality Education Fund which was established in early 1998. Up to the 2006-07 school year's end, a total of $3.48 billion involving 6,931 projects was granted.

Expressing confidence in the appointees' contribution to the two bodies, Secretary for Education Michael Suen also thanked outgoing Education Commission member Tsoi Kai-chun for his work.
