Canto-pronunciation show opens

A new 20-segment series promoting proper Cantonese pronunciation is being broadcast on Metro Radio.

 

Supported by the Standing Committee on Language Education & Research, the show follows a similar television series recently broadcast that highlighted and discouraged lazy articulation in Cantonese.

 

Metro DJs demonstrate how Chinese words easily cause lazy articulation in Cantonese and how they should be properly pronounced.

 

The segments are being broadcast daily on Metro Finance and Metro Showbiz until December 11.
