*
Labour Department

The Labour Department and the Federation of Restaurants & Related Trades will hold a job fair December 13 at Tin Chak Shopping Centre in Tin Shui Wai, offering more than 700 vacancies.

Eight companies will set up counters for on-the-spot recruitment. The vacancies cover a variety of positions such as waiters, kitchen and shop assistants, cashiers, clerks and shop managers. For details click here.

Most of the vacancies offer monthly salaries ranging from $5,000 to $10,000. More than 80% of the jobs require a Form 3 education or below. About 70% are open to those without experience.

The free fair will run from 11am to 6pm. Job seekers can submit applications on the spot and may be selected for on-site interviews. On-the-spot registration will also be conducted.
