More aid set for Mainland drought victims

*

Another $4.14 million in grants from the Disaster Relief Fund have been approved for two organisations to undertake relief projects for drought victims in Guangxi, Guizhou and Yunnan.

Oxfam will get a grant of $2.64 million and World Vision $1.5 million.

The grants add to the disbursement of $135.85 million already approved, bringing the total value of grants for Mainland drought victims to $139.99 million.

To ensure the money is properly used the organisations must submit evaluation reports and audited accounts after the relief projects are completed.
