John Tsang recovers, leaves hospital
*

Financial Secretary John Tsang was discharged from Queen Mary Hospital this morning after recovering from a heart operation.

Leaving the hospital, Mr Tsang said he has fully recovered and thanked the public, his family, colleagues and friends for their well wishes. He especially thanked hospital staff and ambulance officers for their care.

Mr Tsang said the operation will not affect his work and his service to the Hong Kong public. He will return to work as soon as possible, adding he will monitor his health and diet.

He was admitted to hospital on September 27 after returning from the G20 summit in Pittsburgh. His angioplasty operation for a coronary artery blockage went smoothly.
