The Disaster Relief Fund Advisory Committee has approved two grants totalling $3.32 million for relief projects for Philippine typhoon victims.
The Amity Foundation will receive $520,000 while $2.8 million will go to Oxfam Hong Kong.
The agencies will submit evaluation reports and audited accounts on the use of the grants to ensure the money is used properly.
Together with earlier grants of $6.8 million for two other relief organisations, the total grants for Philippine typhoon victims has grown to $10.12 million.
