Chief Executive Donald Tsang has been invited by the Central People's Government to lead a delegation to Beijing for the 60th National Day celebration.

Mr Tsang will leave September 27 to call on Central Government officials, while the delegation, comprising members from various sectors of the community, will depart September 30.

They will attend celebration events including the National Day reception, the military parade and cultural performances.

Chief Secretary for Administration Henry Tang and Secretary for Justice Wong Yan-lung will act as Chief Executive during Mr Tsang's absence.
