Sha Tin by-election poll cards issued

*

Poll cards for the Sha Tin District Council by-election on March 29 have been posted to 12,100 electors in the Tai Wai constituency, the Registration & Electoral Office says.

They should have also received a map of their designated polling station, a guide to voting, and a leaflet introducing the candidates. Those who have not yet received their poll cards should call the election hotline, 2891 1001.

The five candidates are doctor Lee York-fai, funeral consultant Leung Wing-hung from the Democratic Party, community worker Chau Chi-pong, community worker Yuen Kwai-choi from the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment & Progress of Hong Kong and community organiser Chan Wai-man.

Two ordinary polling stations will open from 7.30am to 10.30pm on the polling day. They are located at the Buddhist Wong Wan Tin College in Mei Lam Estate and the TWGHs Sin Chu Wan Primary School at 38 Chik Fuk Street.
