The Disaster Relief Fund Advisory Committee has approved two grants totalling $2.913 million to two agencies to conduct relief projects for flood victims in India.

A sum of $787,000 will be granted to the Cedar Fund and $2.126 million to Oxfam.

To ensure the money is used properly the agencies must submit evaluation reports and audited accounts after the relief projects are completed.
