Henry Tang to visit Beijing
*

Chief Secretary for Administration Henry Tang will leave Hong Kong April 9 for a duty visit to Beijing.

 

He will call on the Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office, the National Development & Reform Commission, the Beijing Organising Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, the Ministry of Transport, and the General Administration of Sports. He will also open the Hong Kong Jockey Club Clubhouse in the capital.

 

Mr Tang will return to Hong Kong April 11. During his absence Secretary for Education Michael Suen will be Acting Chief Secretary.
