Appointments

Civil service commission members named
*

Jeffrey Lam, Barry Cheung and Miranda Chung have been appointed members of the Standing Commission on Civil Service Salaries & Conditions of Service for two years from January 1.

 

Serving members Prof Ho Lok-sang and Andy Lo have been re-appointed to the standing commission from February 1, 2008, to December 31, 2009.

 

Prof Anthony Cheung, Howard Young and Mak Ping-on will retire from the body at the end of this year. The Civil Service Bureau thanked them for their six-year contribution.

 

The standing commission advises the Government on principles and practices governing the pay and conditions of service of non-directorate civilian civil servants. 

 

The body is currently chaired by Nicky Lo. Other serving members are Eleanor Ling, Virginia Choi and Mark Lettenbichler.
