2 LegCo by-election nominations in

The Returning Officer of the Legislative Council Hong Kong Island geographical constituency by-election has received two nominations on the first day of the nomination period, which will run until October 31.

 

The nominees are barrister Lee Wing-kin and Savantas Policy Institute Chairperson Regina Ip. Neither has a political affiliation.

 

The Returning Officer is processing the nominations and will determine their validity. Voting will take place on December 2 if there is more than one validly nominated candidate. Click here for more details about the by-election.
