9 by-election nominations received
*

Two more nominations for the Hong Kong Island geographical constituency by-election were received today, bringing the total to nine at the close of the two-week nomination period.

 

The two new candidates are independents Ho Loy, a volunteer, and marine instructor Philip Li.

 

The remaining seven nominees are Savantas Policy Institute chairperson Regina Ip, barrister Lee Wing-kin, retired civil servant Anson Chan, company directors Tandon Lal Chaing and Ling Wai-wan, worker Lau Yuk-shing, and solicitor Siu See-kong. Click here for more details.

 

The list of validly nominated candidates will be gazetted after their candidature is validated and confirmed.

 

Polls will be held December 2.
