Broadcasting Authority appoints new member
*

The Chief Executive has appointed Wong Sau-ying, and re-appointed five existing members, to the Broadcasting Authority for a two-year term from September 1, the Commerce & Economic Development Bureau says.

The five re-appointed members are Stella Lau, Prof Leonard Cheng, Marina Wong, Adrian Wong and Henry Tsang.

Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Frederick Ma welcomes the new appointment, and said he is confident Ms Wong's expertise and extensive experience in the corporate communications and mass media fields will help enrich the authority's exposure.

Ms Wong is the head of corporate communications for a public utility company and member of the board of directors of the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company.

Mr Ma also expressed gratitude to the outgoing Carlye Tsui, for her devotion and contribution to the authority's work since 2000.
