Police customer service offices to close Saturdays
*
Hong Kong Police

The Police's seven customer service offices will switch to a five-day week from July 1. All emergency and essential Police services will remain unchanged.

The Closed Area Permit Office, Complaints Against Police Reporting Centre, Central Traffic Prosecutions Division Public Counter, Licensing Office, Criminal Conviction Data & Certificate of No Criminal Conviction Office, Force Armoury and the Police Headquarters Shroff Office will close Saturdays.

However, their opening hours will be extended on weekdays. People can also make applications by post, fax or put them in the drop-in boxes. For some services, applicants are encouraged to make telephone bookings.

For more details visit the Police Five-Day Week webpage and the Government's dedicated website. Alternatively, call the Police Hotline 2527 7177 or the 24-hour Citizen's Easy Link 1823.
