Land Registry to start 5-day week
*
land_registry.gif

The Land Registry's offices will close Saturday mornings when the department moves to a five-day week from July 1.

However, office hours will be extended by 45 minutes on weekdays, opening from 8.30am to 5.45pm.

At the initial stage of implementation, an enquiry desk will be set up to provide commonly used forms and answer enquiries. Drop boxes will also be provided at closed offices.

For search of land records, people can use IRIS Online Services, or call its hotline, 3105 0000.

Enquiries can also be sent via email to csa@landreg.gov.hk or by fax to 2596 0281. General information and specified forms can be obtained or downloaded from the registry's website.
