GovHK competition opens
*

GovHK, the Government's new one-stop portal, is organising a photo and banner competition, with cash prizes on offer.

Photo or banner designs can be entered into the youth category (aged 11 to 17) or the open category (aged 18 or above). All entrants must submit their application form and their work via GovHK by July 8.

Entrants can submit up to five photos that best illustrate Hong Kong or the daily lives of its citizens. Winning photos may be displayed on the website. Up to five banner designs can be submitted for the GovHK banner space.

A judging panel comprising representatives from the Information Services Department and the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer will consider whether the entries demonstrate the characteristics of Hong Kong, the technical skills applied and overall aesthetics. Winners will be awarded cash prizes ranging from $500 to $7,000.

Details of the competitions and the online application form are available at the GovHK website.
