Wilfred Wong has been re-appointed as Social Welfare Advisory Committee chairman and four new members - Bunny Chan, Kwan Chuk-fai, Dr Lam Ching-choi and Leung Wing-tai - have been named, the Health, Welfare & Food Bureau says.

Meanwhile, incumbent members Stephen Chow, Quentin Fong, Herman Hui, Dr Benjamin Lai, Vincent Lo, Tung Chi-fat and Lisa Yip have also been re-appointed. All appointments are for two years with effect from today.

Welcoming the appointments, Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food Dr York Chow said he looks forward to their contribution to the development of social welfare policies.

Dr Chow also thanked the two outgoing members, Cheung Ang Siew-mei and Keith Lam, for their valuable advice during their term of appointment.
