Ronald Arculli has been appointed a member of the Consultative Committee on the West Kowloon Cultural District's Core Arts & Cultural Facilities and the Financial Matters Advisory Group Convenor under the committee.

Mr Arculli replaces Marvin Cheung who has resigned. Meanwhile, Dr Peter Kwok and Kevin Westley have been appointed members of the advisory group. All the appointments came into effect today and will last until year's-end.

Chief Secretary for Administration Rafael Hui said: "Mr Arculli possesses extensive experience in public service, as well as in arts and cultural organisations. He is an excellent candidate to take up the position."

Dr Kwok is experienced in corporate management. He is also a member of the Committee on Museums and the Founding Chairman of a private museum in Xian. Mr Westley has served many years in the finance sector and is the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Ocean Park Corporation.

Mr Hui praised Mr Cheung's contribution to the committee.
