AFCD little affected by 5-day week change

*
AFCD

The Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department's services will be mostly unaffected when it implements the first phase of the five-day week initiative in July.

Only back offices that provide internal and indirect services and the General Enquiries Counter at the Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices will see changes. They will open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.45pm, and be closed on Saturdays, from July 1.

Country and marine parks will remain open to the public seven days a week. Wholesale fresh food markets will also run as normal.

The department said the shroff office and counter services for application or issue of permits and licences, which are now provided on Saturday, will also remain unchanged.
