Patrick Ho mourns district councillor
*

Secretary for Home Affairs Dr Patrick Ho and Director of Home Affairs Pamela Tan have expressed their sadness at the death of Sai Kung District Council member Chan Kwai-sang who passed away following an illness.

The 71-year-old was appointed as a member of the Sai Kung District Council in 2000 and re-appointed in 2004.

Praising Mr Chan's willingness to serve the community, Dr Ho said his death is a great loss to the District Council.

Mrs Tan said Mr Chan was a highly respected figure in Sai Kung and had contributed constructive views to the Government on the betterment of the rural community.

"On behalf of my colleagues, I extend my deep condolences to his family," Dr Ho added.
