Twelve new members have been appointed to the Advisory Committee on Agriculture & Fisheries for a two-year term from June 1. Six members have been reappointed.

The committee is a non-statutory body advising the Government on the development of the local agriculture and fisheries industries, and the wholesale marketing of related products.

The new membership list: Dr Raymond Wong (Chairman), Chan Kin-yip, Ho Ka-wai, Professor Sara Ho, Lau Yuen-yee, Lai Loi-chau, Dr Frederick Leung, Leung Fuk-yuen, Pang Wah-kan, Juliana So, Tang Kuk-wah, To Kwong-biu, Simon Wong, Dr John Wong, Wong Yuen-tai, Wong Yung-kan, Dr Jonathan Wong and Yau Tai-tai, plus representatives of the Health, Welfare & Food Bureau, and the Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation and Home Affairs Departments.
