Rosanna Wong re-named education chief
*

Dr Rosanna Wong has been reappointed Education Commission chairman for a two-year term from May 1.

Secretary for Education & Manpower Professor Arthur Li said under Dr Wong's leadership the commission gives the Government valuable advice on education policies and implementation priorities, and on co-ordinating the work of major education bodies to ensure the smooth and effective implementation of education reform.

Dr Wong took up the chairmanship in 2001. Professor Li thanked her for her able leadership, strong commitment and valuable contribution to the commission's work, adding her reappointment will help ensure the continuity of education reform.
