The Financial Secretary has reappointed Alexa Lam as the Securities & Futures Commission's Executive Director in Charge of Intermediaries & Investment Products for three years.
The Financial Services & the Treasury Bureau hailed Mrs Lam's contributions to the commission's work, which has maintained a close working relationship with the industry.
Before joining the commission as an adviser in 1998, Mrs Lam had been a legal practitioner in Hong Kong and New York for more than 17 years and a visiting lecturer at the University of Hong Kong. She was appointed in December, 2001.
