Two named to hear insider dealing inquiry

*

Certified public accountant Ng Kwok-wai and practicing solicitor Nigel Keith Bacon have been appointed Insider Dealing Tribunal members to inquire into possible insider dealings in the listed securities of Asia Orient Holdings Limited in 1999.

Mr Ng is the Managing Director of Eric Ng CPA Limited while Mr Bacon is a partner with Kennedys Solicitors. Both are familiar with the operation of Hong Kong's financial market.

They will sit on the tribunal chaired by Deputy Judge Saunders of the Court of First Instance. The inquiry's preliminary hearing will be held at 4.30pm on February 28 at the Insider Dealing Tribunal in Room 702, Tower Two, Lippo Centre, 89 Queensway.
