A Sustainable Development Online Resource Centre has been set up  to boost public awareness of sustainability issues locally and around the world.

In addition to providing regular updates on the progress of local sustainable development initiatives, the centre will also provide hyperlinks to web-based resources related to broader topics such as education for sustainable development, sustainability assessment mechanisms and the United Nations Agenda 21.
