356 honoured and awarded

*

Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa presented honours and awards to 356 recipients at Government House today.

 

Among them, 15 received the Gold Bauhinia Star, 21 the Silver Bauhinia Star, 55 the Bronze Bauhinia Star, and 10 the Distinguished Service Medal for Disciplined Services.

 

Eight Medals for Bravery - one gold, one silver and six bronze - were also presented. A relation of a deceased awardee received a gold medal on his behalf.

 

Meanwhile, 53 people were awarded Meritorious Service Medals for Disciplined Services and the Independent Commission Against Corruption, 75 the Medal of Honour, 73 the Chief Executive's Commendation for Community Service and 46 the Chief Executive's Commendation for Government-Public Service.
