4 new members for Tourism Board
*
HK Tourism Board

Nine members have been appointed and re-appointed to the Tourism Board for a three-year term from November 1.

The four new members are Dr Chan Wai-kwan, Ronnie Ho, Frederick Lam and Lo Sui-on. Five serving members, Professor Andrew Chan, Michael Hui, Tang Kwai-nang, James Tak Wu and Yu Pang-chun, have been re-appointed.

Secretary for Economic Development & Labour Stephen Ip said he was delighted the re-appointed members accepted.

"They have made a significant contribution to the promotion and development of the tourism industry in Hong Kong. I would also like to welcome four new members and I am sure they will add diversity and bring new expertise to the board.  I look forward to working closely with all members of the board in enhancing Hong Kong's reputation as the premier tourist destination in Asia," Mr Ip said.

"I also wish to thank Michael Sze, Patrick Yeung, Chau Kam-piu and Wailee Chow for their contribution over the past years."
