Fair and open: Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa briefs the media after the election results are announced.

* Real Link

Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa will make appointments to meet with newly-voted legislators from tomorrow.

Mr Tung said he will discuss with members areas of concern, including ways to enhance the relationship between the administration and the legislature, social, political and economic issues, and policy programmes for the next year or two.

He said now the new LegCo has been formed, he will start thinking about the formation of the Executive Council.

Mr Tung said the election was conducted in an open and transparent manner and the people had made their choice.

He admitted there were some inadequacies in the election, and that Electoral Affairs Commission Chairman Justice Woo Kwok-hing will conduct a thorough review and submit a report.
