The Chief Executive has reappointed Lee Jark-pui as the chairman of the Legal Aid Services council and Ruy Barretto, Dr Andrew Chuang, Junius Ho, Billy Ma, Ng Shui-lai, Justein Wong Chun and Stephen Yau as council members.

Andrew Bruce has also been appointed a new council member.

The term of all appointments is two years, starting from September 1.

The council is responsible for overseeing the administration of the legal aid services the Legal Aid Department provides. It also advises the Government on legal aid policy. 

The Director of Legal Aid is an ex-officio council member.
