Otto Poon has been re-appointed Chairman of the Energy Advisory Committee for two years, to July 14, 2006.

The committee's 13 serving non-official members were re-appointed and four others - Dr Larry Chow, Stephen Yau, Sylvia Yau Anthony Ng - were appointed to the committee for the same period.

The committee advises the Government on energy policy, including policy matters concerning energy supply and demand, energy conservation and efficiency, and other related matters theGovernment refers to it.

From July 15, the members include:
