Task Force to meet NPC group in Shenzhen
*

The Constitutional Development Task Force will meet National People's Congress Standing Committee representatives tomorrow in Shenzhen.

Chief Secretary for Administration Donald Tsang, Secretary for Justice Elsie Leung and Secretary for Constitutional Affairs Stephen Lam will brief them on the task force's report which details the Government's views on the issues of legislative process in the Basic Law relating to Hong Kong's constitutional development.

The report also contains copies of all written submissions received by the task force, and a summary of views of different organisations and individuals it has met.

The committee will discuss the draft interpretations on Article 7 of Annex I and Article 3 of Annex II of the Basic Law at its meeting from April 2 to 6.
