CE to attend NPC opening in Beijing

At the invitation of the Standing Committee of the 10th National People's Congress, Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa will depart for Beijing on March 4 to attend the opening ceremony of the second session of the 10th National People's Congress in Beijing the following day.

 

The Chief Executive's Office Director WK Lam, Information Services Director Yvonne Choi, Mr Tung's Private Secretary Robin Ip and his Senior Special Assistant Chan Kin-ping will accompany him.

 

While Mr Tung is away from Hong Kong, Chief Secretary Donald Tsang will be the Acting Chief Executive.
