Gov't to gazette village election polling dates
*

Polling dates for the 2003 Village Representative elections will be gazetted by the Government on May 23.

The Resident Representative Elections and the Indigenous Inhabitant Representative Elections will be held from noon to 7pm during weekends between July 12 and August 17.

Electors can find details of the elections at district offices or the Village Representative Elections' website www.gov.hk/had/vre.

A polling notice, specifying the polling date, address of the polling station and polling hours will be sent to each elector at least 10 days before the polling days.

Enquiries can be made at 2152 1521.
