Principal Assistant Secretary for Education Sophia Wong announced today that classes at all kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools and special schools in Wan Chai and Central & Western districts will be suspended again tomorrow to safeguard student safety.
Speaking at an inter-departmental press conference on the protests, she said it is anticipated that roads and public transport will continue to be affected in protest areas.
She reminded schools to remain open and arrange for staff to look after any students who arrive.
Schools in other districts should be flexible when handling student lateness or absence if they encounter traffic problems.
