Police will clear all barriers at the protest site in Admiralty on December 11 and support bailiffs executing injunction orders on the unlawful occupation there.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Cheung Tak-keung told the media today the occupation has been affecting the daily lives of Hong Kong people for more than two months and Police must restore order.
All barriers blocking roads and pedestrian access on Connaught Road Central, Harcourt Road, Tim Wa Avenue, Tim Mei Avenue and Gloucester Road will be removed.
He urged protesters to pack their belongings and leave the area by that day. He warned them not to resist or charge Police, reiterating that resolute action will be taken to preserve order and safety.
The Causeway Bay protest site will be cleared later at an appropriate time, he added.
